Who am I and how did I test this product?

When my doctor diagnosed me with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), he suggested that I get an EKG monitor. So I purchased Kardia mobile EKG (Electrocardiogram) and the experience has been wonderful. The monitor warns me when I am in AFib and when my heart rhythm is back to normal.

Cons of Kardia mobile ECG

Too touchy This device is too touchy. This means that to get an accurate reading, you have to be perfectly still. Any movement will result in an erroneous EKG.
Inaccurate filter The app’s filter uses an algorithm which is prone to errors. You get results of possible AFib when your heart rate is actually normal. Additionally, the results can come up as unclassified which is not a helpful assessment at all.
Expensive ECG analysis services Getting an analysis from AliveCor will cost you $9 or $19 depending on the service you choose. This is expensive.
Lack of continuous monitoring This is an event monitor. It will record your EKG during an event. However, you cannot monitor your heart while exercising or sleeping.
